We are thrilled to bring you a freeze dried version of our signature organic birdie bread! What we love about this product is the use of Harrison's Organic Pepper Lifetime Pellets as the 'flour' binding the following bread's ingredients together:

  • sweet potato
  • Harrison's Organic Pepper Lifetime pellet (see manufacturer for their list of ingredients)
  • rainbow carrots
  • zucchini
  • banana
  • red bell
  • lacinto kale
  • dandelion greens
  • steel oats
  • tricolor quinoa
  • Greywood Manor Pretty Plume Tea (contains: burdock root, calendula, chamomile, lemon grass and lavender)

The steel oats and tricolor quinoa have been prepared using the steeped tea water until completely absorbed, and then the remaining tea flowers are added into the bread mix.

The birdie bread is freeze dried into 1/2 inch cubes resembling the shape of a Harrison's pellet. If your bird is not a fan of anything pellet, serving recommendations is to rehydrate each cube until slightly softened. Each softened cube can be easily mashed and incorporated into your bird's chop. This is a great way to encourage your bird to eat quality pellets without knowing!

Net weight=2 ounces, or approximately 1 cup of product

    Bodacious Birdie Bread

So I wasn’t quite sure if the Birdie Bread was going to be a hit with my picky Quaker, and boy was I wrong! She likes to pick up one of these nice little dry cubes at a time, hold it with her foot and crunch away! She will pick them as a first choice of the day along with eating her new favorite little beaks moistened chop! Such wholesome and carefully selected ingredients! Couldn’t be happier and these will definitely be reordered! Delighted!

    Yummy!

This is a favorite of both mine and Ozlow, my green cheek conure. I grind this up in my processor (while it is still freeze dried) until it is in fine pellet size nuggets and use it as training treats. Ozlow and I would definitely recommend to anybirdy!
